She was addressing the inaugural session of two-day International Conference titled "Conflict and Cooperation in South Asia: Role of Major Powers", organized by Policy Research Institute, in Islamabad on Tuesday.The Foreign Secretary said political settlement in Afghanistan is the only way to overcome all the challenges confronting Afghanistan and the region.Tehmina Janjua said resolution of lingering Kashmir dispute as per UN Resolutions is also a pre-requisite to peace and tranquility in the region.Expressing his views on the occasion, China's Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing said China's Belt and Road Initiative provides for great economic cooperation and connectivity in the region and beyond.
