Pakistan to extend help through relief goods to Afghanistan

NDMA (National Disaster Management Authority) has sent assistance to the affectees of the earthquake disaster that took more than 900 lives. The relief packages were on the orders of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. 

The truckload included tarpaulin, blankets, tents, and medicines. Pakistan has always extended its help through various programs and being vocal for the Afghan people. Even in the difficult times, Pakistani politicians have assured support to the Afghan nation. In a recent urge, Pakistan has asked the world to aid Afghanistan. 

Munir Akram, Pakistan’s UN Ambassador said and asked the international community to rise “above political considerations” and assist Afghanistan as the disastrous earthquake has deeply affected people. 

Akram further said that the incident is indeed heartbreaking and Pakistan had and will always help Afghanistan with all the necessary humanitarian aid, financial support, and cooperation.
