The rollout is expected to be completed by October in all 120 locations across the UAE.

Emirates is the 1st airline to implement the International Air Transport Association’s IATA Travel Pass on six continents. The Digital Health Pass is currently available to travelers from 50 cities.

UAE gradually expanded its IATA Travel Pass to customers on 12 routes in after successful trials on selected routes. The airline has entered into an agreement to implement the solution on its global network.

Passengers can download the app and register using their passport to create their digital identity.

More than 1,500 Covid 19 test labs can access through the Pass app. Citizens of the EU and the UK can register their vaccine certificate online.

The app allows travelers to handle their travel documents digitally. From getting test results and vaccination certificates directly from authorized labs and test centers, share it easily and securely to authorities and airlines.

It also enables travelers to get accurate information about travel, testing and vaccine requirements.

Future additions enable customers to share their digital travel documents before arriving at the airport. They will appear securely and automatically in the UAE’s check-in system to facilitate a smooth and hassle-free airport experience.
