8 medical stores sealed on selling expired medicines, three arrested in Kandhkot [The Nation] 15 Mar, 2016

KANDHKOT: At least eight medical stores were sealed and three people arrested over charges of selling substandard and outdated medicines today.The police and health authorities over public complaints conducted operation against medical stores engaged in selling second-rate and expired medicines in Bakshapur area of Kandhkot.During operation eight medical stores found involved in selling substandard and outdated medicines were sealed and owners of three medical stores were arrested.Huge quantity of outdated and second-rate medicines recovered during the crackdowns was disposed off.
