Fast bowler Mohammad Amir and wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan have been recalled into Pakistan's ODI squad for the five-match series in South Africa. Seam-bowling allrounder Hussain Talat and batsman Shan Masood, who are both uncapped in ODI cricket, were also called up to the squad.

Asif Ali and Junaid Khan, who were part of the ODI squad for the New Zealand series in the UAE, have been left out while Haris Sohail is recovering from a knee injury.
