Inzamam-ul-Haq announces to step down as chief selector

Inzamam-ul Haq has announced to step down as chief selector of Pakistan Cricket Team.    

Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Wednesday, he said his contract is going to expire on 30th of this month, and he does not want extension in it.

Inzamam-ul Haq said he served as chief selector for three years and did his best to improve performance of the national cricket team.

He said overall performance of the cricket team is improving. He said newcomers should be given chance to play.
