Ingredients
  1. Trotters 1 pair (boiled)
  2. Oil 1 cup
  3. Onion 2 (chopped)
  4. Yogurt 125 gm
  5. Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp
  6. Chili powder 2 tsp
  7. Nutmeg ½ tsp
  8. Mace ½ tsp
  9. Turmeric ½ tsp
  10. Saffron ½ tsp
  11. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Stock 6 cup
  14. All spice powder 1-12 tsp
  15. Green cardamom 4
  16. Black cumin seeds 1 tsp (crushed)
  17. Coriander leaves for garnishing
  18. Green chilies for garnishing
  19. Lemon for garnishing
  20. Mint leaves for garnishing
  21. Ginger for garnishing (juliennes)
Method
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onion and fry till its color turn to golden brown.
  • Now mix together yogurt, coriander powder, chili powder, nutmeg, mace, turmeric, saffron, ginger garlic paste and salt.
  • Add this to the pan and fry well.
  • Now add trotters and continue to fry.
  • Add stock, cover and cook over low flame for 30 minutes.
  • Turn the flame off.
  • Add all spice powder, green cardamom and black cumin seeds.
  • Serve with coriander leaves, green chilies, lemon, mint leaves and ginger juliennes.

It is a very hard and tough dish, i like payee and my husband also like that is why i prepared last sunday in this recipe but my husband made fun of this dish.
