Ingredients
  1. 1) Fresh spinach, shredded 1 kg
  2. 2) Oil 2 tbsp
  3. 3) Butter 75 g
  4. 4) Clove garlic, roughly chopped 1
  5. 5) Cooked beef tongue, cut into strips 100 g
  6. 6) Salt, pepper, pinch of nutmeg
  7. 7) Lemon juice
Method
  • 1. Blanch the spinach in boiling, salted water for 3-5 minutes.
  • 2. Drain thoroughly. Heat oil and butter.
  • 3. Saute garlic till brown, remove garlic and discard.
  • 4. Add the tongue and saute until crisp.
  • 5. Add drained spinach, seasoning and a little lemon juice and serve.
