Ingredients
  1. 8 oz. semolina
  2. 8 tablespoons water
  3. 1 carton yoghurt
  4. 2 oz. peas, cooked oil for frying
  5. 2 green chillis
  6. pinch of asafoetida (optional)
  7. 2 onions, chopped salt to taste
  8. 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
Method
  • Sieve semolina into a bowl. Add water and yoghurt. Set aside for about 15-20 minutes. Add the peas to the semolina. Fry the chopped chillis and asafoetida, if used, in a little oil and add to the semolina with the chopped onions, salt and coriander leaves. Mould the mixture into little balls and deep fry until brown. Serve hot with chutney or pickle.
