Ingredients
  1. Puff pastry250 gm
    Custard powder½ cup
    Milk½ liter
    Sugar1 cup
    Almond50 gm
    Pistachios50 gm
    Khoya125 gm
    Egg1
Method
  • Roll 250 gm puff pastry and spread in a tray. Mark cuts with a knife into square shape. Brush top with beaten egg.
    Now bake in a preheated oven on 180 degrees for 15 – 20 minutes.
    Now remove from oven, cut and remove the crust of baked puff pastry.
    In a wok boil ½ liter milk with 1 cup sugar, 50 gm chopped almond and 50 gm chopped pistachios. Thicken with ½ cup custard powder.
    Now add 125 gm khoya and mix well. Pour custard in the serving bowl on top of baked puff pastry. Top with the crust of puff pastry. Serve hot or cold.
