Ingredients
  1. ½ kg millet flour
  2. 2 tblsp wheat flour
  3. 2tblsp oil for batter
  4. 4 tblsp curd
  5. 6 green chillies (ground)
  6. A small piece of ginger (ground)
  7. Slat to taste
  8. 2 tsps sesame seeds
  9. ¼ tsp turmeric
  10. ¼ tsp red chilli powder
  11. A pinch of asafoetida
  12. Oil for frying
Method
  • Mix well the millet and wheat flour, and oil. Next, add the curd, green chillies, ginger, salt, sesame seeds, turmeric, red chillies, and asafetida. Knead well, and set aside for two hours.
  • From the dough into lemon- sized balls and press them between the palms. They deep fry them in oil on a medium fire until they are fluffy and light brown.Eat when cool.
