Ingredients
  1. ¼ tsp of (black pepper – salt – sugar)
  2. ½ tsp sesame oil
  3. 1 cube of Goody chicken bouillon
  4. 4 cups of chicken, sliced
  5. Oil for frying
  6. Dough
  7. ¼ cup of flour
  8. 1 tbsp baking powder
  9. 1 tbsp starch
  10. 1 egg
  11. 1 tbsp oil
  12. ½ cup of water
  13. Sauce
  14. 3 spoons of Goody clear honey
  15. 1 tbsp sugar
  16. 3 tbsps Ketchup
  17. 3 tbsps of Goody white vinegar
  18. 2 tbsps salty soy sauce
  19. 2 tbsps sweet soy sauce
  20. ½ tsp salt
  21. The Garnish
  22. 2 tbsps sesame, roasted
  23. 2 green onions, minced
Method
  • In a small bowl, mix the black pepper with the salt, sugar, sesame oil, chicken bouillon and vinegar, season the chicken with this mixture then leave it for 30 minutes.
  • Mix all the dough ingredients by putting the flour, baking powder and starch in a deep bowl then stir in the egg, oil and water, knead it until the mixture is incorporated then dip the chicken pieces in it one after the other.
  • In a saucepan, heat an abundant amount of oil then fry the chicken pieces until they are done, remove the pieces from the oil and place them on a kitchen paper to absorb the remaining oil.
  • In a bowl, mix the sauce ingredients together then pour the mixture in a small pot over high heat, stir until it boils then reduce the heat, leave it over low heat until it thickens then pour the mixture over the chicken pieces, stir slightly.
  • Put the chicken pieces in a serving dish and garnish with green onions and sesame.
