Ingredients
  1. Chicken liver ½ kg
    Oil ¼ cup
    Onion 1
    Cinnamon sticks 2 pieces
    Potatoes (cubes) 2
    Green gourd (cubes) 2
    Bottle gourd chopped 1
    Tomatoes boiled 2
    Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
    Coriander powder 1 tsp
    Cumin powder 1 tsp
    Turmeric 1 tsp
    Chili powder 2 tsp
    Green chilies 2 – 3
    All spice powder ¼ tsp
    Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
    Water ½ cup
    Salt to taste
Method
  • Heat ¼ cup oil in a pan, add in 2 cinnamon sticks and ½ kg washed chicken liver. Fry very well for 2 – 3 minutes.
    Now add in 1 chopped onion and 2 chopped potatoes.
    Also add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp turmeric and 2 tsp chili powder. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
    Then add 1 bottle gourd cut into cubes, 2 green gourd cut into cubes and 2 boiled tomatoes. Mix well for 1 – 2 minutes.
    Add ½ cup water, cover and cook for 10 – 12 minutes.
    Now remove lid, add 2 – 3 green chilies and ¼ bunch of coriander leaves.
    Dish it out, sprinkle ¼ tsp all spice powder and serve hot.
