Ingredients
  1. Rice2 – 2 ½ cup
    Gram lentil1 cup
    Turmeric1 tsp
    Saltto taste
    Red chilies8
    Fenugreek seedsfew
    Tamarind paste few
    Green chilies4
    Crushed white cumin1 tsp
    Ginger garlic paste1 tbsp
    Oil1 cup
    Yogurt1 cup
Method
  • Drain the water of the soaked rice and add in fresh water along with salt and boil it. Drain the water once the rice are boiled.
    Boil 1 cup gram lentil in luke warm water and boil till the lentil is completely boiled. Drain the water.
    Take a wok, add in 1 cup oil, add in fenugreek seeds.
    Then add in gram lentil along with salt, 1 tsp turmeric and few curry leaves. Cook it.
    Add in 2- 2 ½ cup rice, 8 red chilies and 4 green chilies, 1 tsp crushed cumin and cook.
    Mix it and cove the pan. Simmer it and serve.
