Ingredients
  1. Turmeric½ tsp
    Red chili powder½ tsp
    Cumin powder1tsp
    Tara garam masala1tsp
    Carom seeds¼ tsp
    Ingredients
    Rice2 cups
    Onion1
    Tomatoes1
    Ginger garlic paste2tsp
    Oil¼ cup
    Salt1tsp
Method
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry onion for few seconds, then add 1 chopped tomato, 2tsp ginger garlic paste and allow to cook.
    Now add ½ tsp turmeric powder,1/2 tsp red chili powder ,1tsp cumin ,1tsp tara garam masala,1/4 tsp carom seeds and 1tsp salt .
    Then add 3-1/2 cup of water.
    When it starts to boil then add 2 cups rice and allow cooking.
    When water dries then simmer it for 6-8 minutes.
