Ingredients
  1. Fish fillet½ kg
    Spinach1 kg
    Saltto taste
    Black pepper powder½ tsp
    Lemon juice2 – 3 tbsp
    Fresh cream200 ml
    Flour½ cup
    Milk300 ml
    Cheddar cheese100 gm
    Parsley choppedas required
    Mozzarella cheese100 gm
    Oil3 – 4 tbsp
Method
  • Cut ½ kg fish into small cubes, marinate with a little salt, a little black pepper and 2 – 3 tbsp lemon juice.
    Then coat with plain flour and shallow fry till golden brown.
    Heat 2 – 3 tbsp oil in a wok, add in 2 – 3 tbsp flour and fry well.
    Then add 300 ml milk and cook till thickens,add salt to taste and ½ tsp black pepper powder. Cook for a while and remove.
    Finely chop 1 kg spinach and blanch with water. Then squeeze out the extra water and sauté with a little oil. Now add 250 ml fresh cream and mix well. Turn the flame off.
    In an oven proof glass dish make a layer of prepared white sauce,spread a little spinach mixture on top of white sauce. Now arrange the fried fish
    Again spread the remaining white sauce and spinach mixture.
    Lastly make a layer of grated mozzarella cheese and grated cheddar cheese on top.
    Sprinkle top with chopped parsley, then bake in a preheated oven on 180 degrees for 10 – 12 minutes.
    Remove from ovenand serve hot.
