Ingredients
  1. Chicken boneless½ kg
    Rice100 gm
    Yellow lentils100 gm
    Spinach1 small bunch
    Saltto taste
    Onion1
    Chili powder1 tbsp
    Coriander powder1 tsp
    Cumin powder1 tsp
    Whole cumin seeds1 tsp
    All spice powder½ tsp
    Yogurt250 gm
    Oil¼ cup
Method
  • Heat ¼ cup oil in a wok, add 1 sliced onion and sauté till golden brown. Then add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and sliced chicken. Fry well till its color is changed
    Now add 100 gm soaked yellow lentils, 100 gm soaked rice, 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp cumin powder and 250 gm yogurt. Fry well for 1 – 2 minutes.
    Then add salt to taste and 2 cups of water. Cover and cook on low flame for 15 – 20 minutes till rice are tender.
    Now add 1 bunch of chopped spinach, simmer on low flame for 2 – 3 minutes.
    Dish it out and serve hot.
