Chicken Pakora Recipe

You might have used many Chicken Pakora recipes but this one is little different and easier, the recipe is defined below in the method column. You can serve Chicken Pakora with ketchup, Chatni as you like. Use of Chicken Pakora is common in Ramadan on Iftar table. On other days Chicken Pakora uses as snacks with tea in the evening.

Ingredients
  1. Chicken boneless 1 cup
  2. Soy sauce 1 tbsp
  3. Chili garlic sauce 1 tbsp
  4. Salt a pinch (if required)
  5. Lemon juice 1 tsp
  6. For batter:
  7. Gram flour (besan) 1/2 cup
  8. Salt 1/2 tsp
  9. Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Water to make paste
  11. Oil for frying
Method
  • 1- First marinate chicken with soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, salt, and lemon juice.
  • 2- Keep the marinated chicken in fridge for minimum 1/2 hour.
  • 3- Then in a mixing bowl, add gram flour, salt and baking powder.
  • 4- Make a thick paste with water.
  • 5- Then, dip each piece of marinated chicken in gram flour mixture and deep fry in medium hot oil till chicken tender and get a good golden color on top.
  • 6- Put them on paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  • 7- Serve with ketchup or with your favorite chutney and enjoy.
