Ingredients
  1. Cooked elbow macaroni 4 cup
    Sliced fresh mushrooms 2/3 cup
    Finely chopped onion  4 tbsp
    Finely chopped garlic  2 tsp
    Finely chopped green chili 1 tbsp
    Cubed cooked chicken 1/2 cup
    Shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 cup
    Fresh Cream 1/2 cup
    Milk ¼ cup
    Chopped green pepper  1/2 cup
    Seasoned salt 1 tsp
    Pepper 1/8 tsp
    Soft bread crumbs 1/2 cup
    Butter or oil melted 2 tbsp
Method
  • Cook 4 cup macaroni according to package directions.
    Meanwhile, in a small skillet, sauté the 2/3 cup sliced fresh mushrooms, 2 tsp finely chopped garlic, 4 tbsp finely chopped onion, 1 tbsp finely chopped green chili and 1/2 cup chopped green pepper in 2 tbsp butter butter until tender.
     Combine the 1/2 cup cooked chicken, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup fresh cream, 1/4 cup milk, seasoned salt, pepper.
    Drain macaroni; add to chicken mixture.
    Transfer to a baking dish coated with cooking spray.
    Combine bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle over top of casserole.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 15-25 minutes or until bubbly.
