Chef Gulzar Hussain - Born on 5th august, Gulzar Hussain commonly known as chef Gulzar needs no introduction now because if his fame in the culinary industry of Pakistan. Very few people are aware of the fact that before Chef Gulzar made his name in culinary, he had been associated with showbiz. In the year 1998 he got training in Japan with oriental chefs. Chef Gulzar graduated from Tokyo University and worked at Ginza Tokyo Hotel for three years. He specialized in some unique varieties of oriental and continental cuisines. Chef Gulzar is basically a Japanese cuisine chef. He can make so many varieties of Japanese cuisine mixed with Pakistani cuisine which in other words is called a fusion cuisine.

Other than having all the qualities of being in the list of leading chefs of Pakistan he got recognition in early 2005 from his morning cooking show on Hum TV. The famous chef can produce finest taste in any Japanese or Pakistani recipe and make the taste buds alive. Chef Gulzar Hussain is a significant food personality and professional chef who certainly knows how to deal with herbs and spices to bring out the best flavors in authentic Pakistani, Continental and Japanese cuisines.

Before his recognition as a promising chef he inaugurated a Thai sea-food restaurant with an optimistic approach in Defense Phase II Karachi, as per his expectation it did well and he succeeded to connect to the sea food lovers with authentic delicious taste.

Currently, Chef Gulzar is associated with Masala TV’s flagship show ‘Dawat”. His style of cooking and narrating the recipe is simple and comprehensive. One can easily learn by watching his cooking show on TV. Dawat Cooking Competition is a special segment of his show which is brilliantly hosted and conducted by him. From BBQ to Rasgullay, Chef Gulzar is specialized to cook any recipe from any cuisine. The followers of his show call him and request him to make their favorite dishes.

Chef Gulzar has worked at all the leading channels of Pakistan like ARY, HUM TV, Masala TV, Indus TV and other special appearances in different TV shows. His technique and way of cooking along with entertainment has gathered him with lots of fame. His jolly personality and joyous cooking catches the attention of the viewers even the children like him.
