Ingredients
  1. 1/4 cup Barley (jau)
  2. 1/3 cup sweet Corn (makai ke dane)
  3. 1/2 cup red and yellow Capsicum, chopped
  4. 1 spring Onions with greens, chopped
  5. 2 tbsp chopped Coriander (dhania)
  6. 1 tsp Lemon juIce
  7. 1/2 tsp Sugar
  8. 1/2 tsp roasted Cumin seeds (jeera) powder
  9. Salt to taste
Method
  • Pressure cook the barley and corn with 1 cup of water for 2 whistles. Drain and allow to cool
  • completely.
  • Combine all the ingredients for the salad in a serving bowl and toss well.
  • Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
