Sabir Zafar Poetry in Urdu

Sabir Zafar Poetry - Sabir Zafar is the social activist, prolific poet and lyricist in Pakistan. He was born at Kahuta in Rawalpindi district on 12 September 1949. He was a political activist initially, them he switch to poetry to peruse his career as a poet. He is associated with the Press Information Department of Sindh Government.

He started poetry in 1968.Almost all well-known singers including Munni Begum and Ghulam Ali has sung his ghazals. He has also written song for Pakistani movies which is sung my many famous singers including Nazia Hasan, Sajjad Ali and Ali Azmat. Many Famous title songs for drama serials are also added to his credits like ‘Meri Zaat Zara-e-Be Nishan’ , Diyar-e-Dil. He was awarded a Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence) by the Government of Pakistan in 2010.

Garaj Baras, Pappu Yar Tang Na kar, Hai Jazba Junon are also included in their famous content.
