UHS: MBBS result announced
|THE University of Health Sciences
(UHS), Lahore, on Wednesday, announced the result of MBBS Final Professional
(Revised Scheme) Annual Examination 2007 held in January-March 2008.
The candidates appeared from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore,
Rawalpindi Medical College, Rawalpindi, Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad,
Nishtar Medical College, Multan, Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur,
Shaikh Zayed Medical College, Rahim Yar Khan, Services Institute of Medical
Sciences, Lahore, Lahore Medical and Dental College, Lahore, and Fatima
Memorial Hospital College of Medicine and Dentistry, Lahore.
|A total of 1,433
candidates appeared out of whom 1,146 were declared successful in the
examination with 80.65 pass percentage. As many as 275 candidates could not
get through the examination while roll numbers of 12 candidates were put on
Muhammad Zaman Khan, Roll No. 169, from Allama Iqbal Medical College,
Lahore, stood first in the examination by securing 1235/1500 (82.33 %)
marks, Hina Hafeez Abbasi, Roll No. 2030, from Rawalpindi Medical College,
Rawalpindi, got second position by obtaining 1171/1500 (78.07 %) marks while
Sara Ijaz Gilani, Roll No. 2095, from Rawalpindi Medical College, Rawalpindi,
held third position by getting 1158/1500 (77.20 %) marks in the examination.

The candidates, who could not get through the examination, are required to
submit their admission forms on or before 07-04-2008 and with double fee on
