In Turkiye, voting begins today in the presidential run-off to elect the president after no candidate was able to reach the 50 percent threshold in the first round held on 14th May.The main contenders are incumbent president Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his opponent from broad opposition alliance Kemal Kilicdaroglu. Polling will be held from eight am to five pm around the country.Turnout in the first round was 88.8%, and incumbent president Tayyip Erdogan's lead was 2.5 million votes.
