Position holders of matric exam in Punjab

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Bahawalpur, announced on Friday the top position holders of the matriculation examination (annual) 2015 showing a pass percentage of 73.41. According to BISE’s announcement, out of total 67,136 candidates, 49,282 were declared successful. Two female candidates Hajira Khalid of Tameer-i-Nau Millat Higher Secondary School, Rahim Yar Khan, and Zoha Tanveer of Iqra Grammar Girls School (private), Sadiqabad, clinched the overall first position by securing 1,067 marks each. Muhammad Saad Khan of Al-Huda Grammar School, Rahim Yar Khan got the overall second position by securing 1,063 marks. The overall third position went to two candidates Muhammad Arham of Al-Pine Boys School, Khanpur, and Saeeda Younus of Government Girls High City School, Bahawalnagar, who obtained 1,061 marks each. SCIENCE GROUP (Boys): Muhammad Saad Khan secured first position with 1,067 marks while Muhammad Arham Khan with 1,061 marks and Hafiz Muhammad Amin of Central Public School, Khanpur, with 1,058 marks won second and third positions, respectively. SCIENCE GROUP (Girls): Hajra Khalid and Zoha Tanveer shared first position with 1,067 while Saeeda Younus of Bahawalnagar City Girls School got second position with 1,061 marks. Three girls Arabea Akhtar of Public School, Bahawalnagar, Mubashra Raashida of St. Dominican Convent School, Bahawalpur, and Aiman Fatima of City Girls School, Rahim Yar Khan, captured third position by securing 1,058 marks each. ARTS GROUP (Boys): Hafiz Ehsan of Jamia Dar-ul-Aloom, Bahawalpur, stood first with 996 marks, Muhammad Sufian of Jamia Madnia, Bahawalpur, got second position with 972 marks while Muhammad Nadeem of Jamia Madnia got third position with 930 marks. ARTS GROUP (Girls): Rabia Kausar of village 125/3-R, Haroonabad, and Fareeha Liaquat of village 95/F, Chishtian, got first position with 959 marks each. Mahvish Tayyub of Government Girls School, Chishtian, and Sania Sattar of Government Girls High School, Chishtian, obtained second and third positions with 957 and 956 marks, respectively. FAISALABAD: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Faisalabad, has announced the names of position holders of the secondary school certificate examinations, 2015. Overall the girls have clinched all top three positions. Mahnoor of Divisional Model School, Racecourse Road, clinched first position with 1,079 marks, Fatima Mehmood of Laboratory Girls High School, Agriculture University, stood second with 1,076 marks and Zartasha Hafeez of Convent of Jesus and Marry Girls High School, Mustafaabad, Toba Tek Singh, secured third position with 1,075 marks. GUJRANWALA: The board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Gujranwala, announced on Friday the results of position holders of the secondary school annual examination 2015. According to Controller Examination Dr Tanveer Zafar, overall 178,949 candidates appeared in the examination and of them 128,377 were declared successful showing a pass percentage of 71.74 . Hafiz Khazar Mubeen of Best School System, Satellite Town, Gujranwala, stood first by getting 1,078 marks, Muhammad Hamad Ejaz of Jadeed Dastagir Ideal School, Gujranwala, and Rida Shaukat of The Riyal School of Science, Shahpur Khiali, shared second position with 1,073 marks each while Muhammad Umair Murtaza of Allied School for Boys, Civil Line, Gujranwala, got third position with 1,071 marks.
