DUBAI: Pakistan reached 30-2 at lunch on the second day of the third and final Test against England at Dubai Stadium on Saturday.
England were earlier bowled for 141 in their first innings, taking a 42-run lead on Pakistan’s first knock total of 99.
Azhar Ali and Younis Khan were at the crease on one each.
Andrew Strauss top scored for England with 56. Left-arm spinner Abdur Rehman finished with 5-40.
Pakistan already have an unassailable 2-0 lead.
On Friday, a total of 16 wickets fell during an extraordinary day’s play as Pakistan, routed for just 99 in their first innings by England pacemen Stuart Broad (four for 36) and James Anderson (three for 35), hit back through their spinners to leave England struggling at 104 for six.
