Islamabad: The International Islamic University (IIU), Islamabad, has
extended the admission date until July 18.
According to D.K. Hairan Khattak, spokesman for the university, the
administration decided to extend the date to submit admission forms to
accommodate the maximum number of applicants as long queues of admission seekers
were seen.
He said admission process at university was in full swing and that a great rush
of applicants was seen in the last couple of days.
The spokesman said the IIU offered 129 academic programmes of its nine
faculties.
He said students, who haven’t passed GAT General/NTS test, were also encouraged
to apply, while candidates awaiting examination results could also apply but
they had to give an undertaking that they would submit overall pass results of
required degree latest by September 30.
“Information regarding eligibility in any programme or any other extra
information is available at the university website i.e. www.iiu.edu.pk,” he
said.
