Rally held in Islamabad to mark World Bicycle Day

To commemorate World Bicycle Day, a rally was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad today.

A large number of people including Ambassadors, women and children participated in the event.

The Cyclers pedal their cycles from D-Chowk to Serena Hotel on Saturday evening.

Speaking on the occasion ambassador of Turkmenistan Atadjan Movlamov said that the aim of this exercise was to disseminate awareness among the masses about the benefits of cycling. He said the United Nations declared 3rd June as World Bicycle Day by the efforts of his country.
