Punjab polls and SC review of law to be hear together on Tuesday
During the hearing on the review petitions related to the Review of Judgments Act, Punjab elections, the Chief Justice remarked that the question is whether elections in 90 days have constitutional sanctity. What was the purpose of the protest outside the court? Delivery of justice is the work of God.

The Chief Justice said that if a larger bench is formed to hear the revision petitions, new points will also be raised before it, it will not be possible to roll back the law.

Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial said that he had asked the lawyer of the Election Commission, can you give a final say on the October 8 election? After the events that have happened in the country, I have put this question, in some countries I am referring to May 9, everyone agrees on the constitution but not everyone is clear on the implementation of the constitution.

Tehreek-e-Insaf's lawyer, Barrister Ali Zafar, said that the constitution has died in the country after May 14. Justice Muneeb Akhtar inquired that what do you say that the Election Commission's review request should be heard under the old law? Barrister Ali Zafar said yes, let's hear this petition under the old law.

Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial said that this is not a new case, it is an appeal against an earlier decision. The new law is inconsistent with the Constitution and a continuation of the Practice and Procedure Act.

Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial said that we have received some requests against the new revision law, the matter of the revision act has to be looked at some stage, the Attorney General is notified.

Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial said to barrister Ali Zafar , tell us your point of view, what are we thinking then we will tell you. Tehreek-e-Insaaf's lawyer Ali Zafar said that I think the Election Commission's review request should be heard, I have prepared a response to the Election Commission's request. The court should also hear the petition against the review point.

The hearing on the review application against the decision of the Election Commission of Punjab elections was adjourned till Tuesday. The hearing on the petitions against the Judiciary Review Act was also adjourned till next Tuesday. A notice was issued to the Federation on petitions against the Judgment Review Act. The court directed to decide both the cases together.
