Dr Constantino Parma commends Govt's efforts to promote olive cultivation

International expert on Olive Production from Italy Dr Constantino Parma has commended Government of Pakistan's efforts to promote olive cultivation in the arid regions of the country, especially in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan's Planet FM 87.6 channel, he said climate and soil of some parts of Pakistan are conducive for olive cultivation.

Highlighting an Italian funded project to promote olive cultivation in Pakistan, Dr Constantino Parma said the initiative aims at encouraging olive cultivation in the country and providing technical assistance to farmers.
