Pakistan is in deep trouble as they still need 354 runs to avoid innings defeat. Earlier, New Zealand declared their innings on 659/6 as Kane Williamson scored his fourth double hundred. However, he scored 238 valuable runs for New Zealand cricket team.

The fifth wicket partnership between Kane Williamson and Henry Nicholls added 369 runs. However, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Abbas, and Faheem Ashraf took 2 wickets each.
