Vivo V7+ is the latest selfie-focused smartphone that has stunned the
world with its top notch exceptional features and specifications. Among
others, VIVO V7+comes with a Full View Display with reduced bezels on
the side, bottom, and top. The Vivo V7+ boasts widest display screen
among smartphones developed for young users with 18:9 aspect ratio.
Apart from display, there are several other top class specifications
that make this device worth purchasing.
Design & Body
Talking about the design & display, VIVO V7 plus sports an entirely
different design from all other VIVO smart phones previously launched.
VIVO V7 plus is well built, slimmer, and lighter to carry. With better
ergonomics and a depth of just 7.7mm, the phone can be comfortably
carried in your pocket and easy to grip in hands.VIVO V7 + comes in a
full metal unibody design in matt black finish even at edges. Vivo has
added some chrome accents around the top and bottom edges of the phone
to give it some aesthetic appeal.
It has the power button, and volume rocker on the right side, SIM card
tray slot on the left and the bottom edge got 3.5 mm audio port, micro
USB port, primary mic, and loudspeaker. The top edge is empty except for
the secondary microphone pinhole.
Vivo V7 Plushas Infinity display with a 5.99 inches screen which is
stretched further toward the bezels. The front panel has minimal bezels
with front facing camera and an earpiece is on the top bezel. The rear
end has the camera module at the top left corner with the flash LED.
Fastest Fingerprint Scanner
The fingerprint sensor is located in the center below the camera module
and Vivo brand logo is located below that. The bezels around the screen
give a more premium look to the smart phone.
Larger screen size
The screen size of 5.99 inches Full View display with 1440 X 720 pixel
HD resolution is certainly not impressive. The display is not as awful
as we had expected. Your texts and icons are not as sharp as expected
but there’s no visible color banding in videos and still images. Viewing
angles of IPS panel is decent and colors on screen are nicely saturated.
Notification LED is also there above the screen. Due to such an
impressive big screen, and has a very slim (7.7mm) form factor that
gives the users a premium feel while holding this device in hands.
High end 18:9 ratio screen
One of the key benefits of 18:9 aspect ratio is that it allows a bigger
screen to fit in a small chassis. The Vivo V7+ is almost 6-inch screen
device thatcomes in a compact body, hardly bigger than that of a
5.5-inch smart phone. This is 12.5% bigger than the regular 16:9 screen
that comprise of 84.4% screen to body ratio. Unlike traditional screens
with pointed edges, the next-gen screen in the VIVO V7+ has rounded
edges resembling the curves of the phone chassis.
The screen of V7 Plus is bright and the touch is super-responsive.
Unfortunately, the HD resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels is insufficient to
cover the 6-inches screen. Therefore the screen looks pixilated and
dull, while watching movies, TV shows or using any other multimedia
apps. For games, the screen lowers the immersive experience.
VIVO V7+ is the first smart phone that features a 24MP front camera and
edge-to-edge “Full View” display. This makes it highly desirable
