Each morning millions of people
around the world are going to their working places to start work to earn money
for their livelihood. They will try their best to satisfy the employer with whom
they are working, to produce a satisfactory product for the customers who
consume their products or services. Their only goal behind their hard work is to
light the stoves of their home to provide their children with food and other
basic needs like shelter clothe health and education with the prerequisite
peaceful environment.
Brain-Drain is that situation occurs where a highly skilled workers migrates
from their homeland towards peaceful locations. The unsatisfactory law and order
condition is not the only factor which causes Brain-Drain situation, but
employment level and wage rate also dose matter. The skilled workers are
migrating to find safe haven and high rate of wages, this is what their flow is
towards western countries and Golf countries where they can find a better job
than at homeland.
Pakistan is in face-to-face with the Brain-Drain situation. According to an
estimate seven million Pakistani nationals are reside in different countries,
and they are providing their services over there. According to a recent data two
million people are went abroad in three years for sake employment. Pakistan
government had failed to increase the level of employment. They are failed in
providing satisfactory law and order condition at home that’s why the problems
like Brain-Drain and capital flight are occurring.
In Pakistan the activities of terrorist are at peak target killing, kidnaping
and Ransom kind of hurdles are faced by the skilled workers and investor on
daily bases. There is no satisfactory law and order condition, unemployment is
at peak, wage rate is low than other countries. The skilled workers are being
targeted in the major cities of Pakistan like Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta these
are the factors which causes Brain-Drain situation.
To stop the Brain-Drain situation the government of Pakistan is required to
provide the people with satisfactory law and order condition. For employment
Pakistan Government should increase government expenditure in result the working
opportunities will be increased for the masses and unemployment will be reduced.
Pakistani government should facilitate the workers, This is the only way to stop
Brain-Drain situation otherwise its ratio may increase twofold if these step are
not taken.
