ICC T20 Trophy inauguration ceremony held in APS Peshawar

Peshawar, 11 January 2016. The
Launching ceremony of the ICC T20 Trophy held in Army public school on Monday.
ISPR arranged the program in the APS ground near martyred memorial monuments.
Students and teachers of the school also attend the event. During the Launching
ceremony of ICC T20 trophy security was high alert.
The special security squad brings the ICC Trophy in APS main ground, captain of
one day Pakistani cricket team Azher Ali and ICC Marketing Head Remand also
attends the event. Captain of Pakistani cricket team and Remand along with two
students of the APS inaugurated the T20 trophy.
Students of different classes of army public school and Azher Ali took selfies
with the trophy, during inauguration ceremony.
During the Media talk the ICC marketing Head Remand said that its honor for him
to bring the trophy in APS School , he also added that the Trophy journey start
from Johannesburg and now the trophy reached to Peshawar , later the T20 trophy
will go to Bangladesh and India. ICC Marking Head Remand said that Trophy will
start in March 2016.
During the media talks Azher Ali said that he is pleased to sit in the front of
brave students of the APS, he added that in 2009 during the captaincy of Younas
Khan we won the T20 and now we hope that our team will win the T20 Trophy. He
further added if we win the trophy we will dedicate it to the Martyr of the APS.
The Captain of the Pakistan One day Cricket Team Azher Ali said that KPK have
most talented cricketer, also it’s a great honor that’s since 2014 Peshawar team
win T20 Cricket championship.
