(The on-going dilemma and
catastrophic back worded education system between bad panning and week governing
and deliberate corruption)
Education system is the most important part of in any civilization to survive
through history and in today’s world should be the backbone of any reformations
in Pakistan.
We all know the importance of education system and education system build the
nation determine the future of nation. Pakistan education is consisted of
260,903 institutes and is facilitating 41,018,384 students with the help of
1,535,461 teachers. The system includes 180,846 public institutions and 80,057
private institutions and 31% educational institutes run by private and the rest
69% are public institutes that shows how many people involved in this system
wither students and their teachers.
The important of all this is the elements of information and the way of teaching
them to the students and the creative way of founding teaching programs.
Reality have proved that ISLAM also tells us about Education and its importance
which been clearly mentioned in the holy Quran and the great advice of the
prophet (PBUH) which said in the surah baqarah to fair Allah and Allah knows
everything and teaching us and he is the most knowledgeable one {وَاتَّقُوااللهَوَيُعَلِّمُكُمُاللهُوَاللهُبِكُلِّشَيْءٍعَلِيمٌ}
[البقرة: 282].
And another surah (al nahal) teaches us how to learn and teach even going deep
and teaching us how dialog and argue in a knowledgeable and high mannered way
ادْعُإِلَىسَبِيلِرَبِّكَبِالْحِكْمَةِوَالْمَوْعِظَةِالْحَسَنَةِوَجَادِلْهُمْبِالَّتِيهِيَأَحْسَنُإِنَّرَبَّكَهُوَأَعْلَمُبِمَنْضَلَّعَنْسَبِيلِهِوَهُوَأَعْلَمُبِالْمُهْتَدِينَ
(125)
The prophet (PBUH) said himself that Allah loves the strong believer he meant
that god loves the knowledgeable strong believer (all strengths based on
knowledge including the body strengths because knows how to use that strengths
in the way of Allah to build this world المؤمنالقويخيروأحبإلىاللهمنالمؤمنالضعيف
The real essence of Education according to ISLAM is “to start with to know
ALLAH” and this world but I think most of our people in our country
concentrating on one part of Allah message which they try to know Allah but they
don’t try to know this world thinking what they doing is what Allah wants which
is completely not correct.
Neither our schools nor our madrassa’s (Islamic Education Centres) are truly
educating our youth in this regard.
In schools, we are just preparing them for “Money”. We aren't educating them we
are just preparing “Money Machines”. We are only increasing the burden of the
books for our children and just enrolling them in a reputed, big school for
what, just for social status???????
So we building a citizen through education system in negative way or and ruined
citizen personalities which makes them vulnerable to selfish and greedy
understanding of life this kind of people cannot build a country and cannot be
loyal to the country because they all thinking and understanding based on how to
make money nothing else this honest view my upset some of those who may feel
this description fit on them.
On the other hand in our madrassas we are preparing people who find it very
difficult to adjust themselves in the modern society. Sometimes it seems that
they are from another planet. A madrassa student can’t compete even in our
country then the World is so far from him. He find it very difficult to even
speak to a school boy.
It is crystal clear that Islamic Education is necessary for Muslims but it will
need other links of knowledge to complete the chain of knowledge to make them
strong and powerful human being and good believers, effective and creative
citizens.
It is a fact that without modern education no one can compete in this world.
There are many examples of Muslim Scholars who not only study the Holy Quran but
also mastered the other subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy and
many more, with the help of Holy Quran. I think with the current education
system we are narrowing the way for our children instead of widening them we can
seriously teach them the art of life.There is no doubt that a lot of our
children are very talented, both in schools and in madrassas, we just need to
give them the proper knowledge and moral behaviour.
I believe that the golden triangle of success lies on tree facts knowledge,
believe and manners when this tree combine together generates great individuals
such as Quaid-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, AllamaIqbal, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, etc.
Unfortunately the education system we are running is not working in effective
anymore and we have to find a way to close this gap between students and quality
teaching programs and implemented on madrassa and schools.
Educational philosopher(Robert Maynard Hutchins) describes the need of high
quality programs in a very nice and easy way saying
“The object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves
throughout their lives.”
Which means including the teaching and the caring we should implement that
teaching in student’s practical life and we should give our youth the guidance
and the good way to educate themselves?
Edward Everett said and I quote that “Education is a better safeguard of liberty
than a standing army.”
Sadly, in Pakistan we are not spending enough budget on teaching programs or
education systems but I am sorry to say that corruptions and unnecessary
spending and secondly important fields taking more of the budget and leaving our
education system with disability and this need serious look over again by the
governors of our country and specially by those whom not corrupted and love this
country with their heart and mind and loyal to it to the maximum limit.
Since 1947 not a single government is able to change this dilemma.
One of the emergency saving plans in this country which I suggest is that
Pakistani army which is the greatest organization in our country and still have
that pure loyalty towards the country can play serious role in education system
since there is a lot of army officers and army personal highly educated and can
play role of teaching to close the gap we talking about just like Egyptian army
( the Egyptian army helps building the country in every way and never ignore the
good element of educated army officers and army personals and use is them a
perfect way to rebuild the country which made the Egyptian army one of the most
successful army’s and organizations around the world)
It is good to suggest that we should learn from others good things and because
we love Pakistan and Muslim nation in Pakistan and around the world we should
monitor the weakness point and rectify it with the serious analysing based on
love respect and loyalty and rectify all mistakes and wrong polices programs and
procedures by sincere and effective quick action.
Political parties and groups spends hundreds of millions of rupees every year
for political propaganda throughout the country and all that propaganda in my
view is temporary propaganda for temporary purpose in my humble view this
temporary spending for temporary achievement in some of a is kind of cheating
the nation instead of building for the nation therefore my advice to all
political parties and leaders and political activist is to use some of this
money to build the or to help in the education system but not in profitable way
I think that will bring them more supporters who believes them through action
rather than through promises
I hope my sincere views will reach some sincere hearts and minds of some of the
policy makers and some of those politicans and officals and religies leaders who
love the country in honest and sincere way.

Allah said in this ayah-- Say work soon will Allah observe your work and His
Messenger and the believers and Strdon to the world of the unseen and the truth
of what you did
So let all be as the ayat mentioned
