Gold prospecting in Pakistan

Gold is certainly found in
Pakistan on a economical level,need is to develop basic prospecting techniques
which are very simple and need only'doing or not doing'it can immediately start
to develop basic gold prospecting techniques and extend them as per
requirement.River in Pakistan bring Kilos of Gold every year and lot of Gold is
present in the shape of deposits (Placers ) in the rivers bed.Certain work in
this direction has been initiated by an hobbyist and researcher Mr Muhammad
Tariq of COMSATS university by developing basic gold prospecting tool and
machinery and also published a Gold prospecting book in Urdu language.DOST has
appreciated his effort and have funded him for research work . Basic tools are
,Gold pan,gold trommel,gold magnet,shaking table etc.
