H. Jackson Brown, Jr. said “Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more”. The students of SZABIST University who took the initiative of thanking silent national heroes whose activities go unnoticed. As a part of their media management project in collaboration with Dilpasand, revitalized the concept of happiness by gifting sweets and sharing delightful memories with the most prominent to the least noticed.

As an initial step to achieve their goal of sharing happiness and delightful moments these students visited Abdul Sattar Edhi the mover & shaker of social welfare in Pakistan conveying their heartfelt regards for his selfless and extraordinary contributions to the country. This micro movement extended recognition in all spheres including its recognition to traffic personnel’s’ for their unshakeable and decisive support. They stand for the road safety and regulations of the citizens in sunny days, misty afternoons and foggy nights. In addition, this young movement in all glory left no stone unturned by extending its thanksgiving campaign to every nook and corner of the city. Clean environment is a human right like any other, so those who keep it clean should be appreciated according to these students.

Their movement acknowledged the contributions of the cleaning staff from KMC (Karachi Municipal Corporation) as they strive to keep the environment clean and the citizens healthier. This initiative led to mass encouragement and originated waves of recognition in the society, just like the domino effect. The movement has rapidly widened its influence and these individuals have reiterated their responsibilities acknowledging national excellence. Focusing on families who rendered their selfless services to the nation these students thanked the son, who didn't give up, instead gave back their own services as a befitting response to terrorism. These students thanked (sipahi) Jameel Ahmed a stand guard police personnel who prides himself in being the son of a martyred police personnel ASI Hadi Bux.

Dilpasand sweets, supporting these young leaders from SZABIST University who aim to be the revivers of saying thanks, paid its highest tribute and gratifications to these salient national heroes. Umer Nawaz Shaikh, a brain child of this movement stated “Our success in collaboration with Dilpasand Sweets was not only taking the initiative but to do the work and persist till the end”. These young and vibrant individuals have unarguably given their life to something better than themselves.
