NIAZ HUSAIN ABBASI

A gentle man who was famous as Niaz Husain Abbasi and well known as Abbasi sahib, was born in the house of Ustad Muhammad Mithal Khan Kalhoro (an education Inspector of defunct Khyrpur State) son of Wadero Sultan Ali Khan Kalhoro son of Wadero Nabi Ando Khan son of Wadero Allahdad Khan son of Wadero Abdul Ghafoor Khan Kalhoro of Tagro, Ripri, taluka Gambat, District Khairpur, on the 1st of January, 1954 at village Tagro, Ripri. He was a brave, genius, active, liberal and straight forward. In leisure times, he used to play indoor games. He was fond off horse riding in his young age. His political back ground is that his grandfather Wadero Sultan Ali Khan son of Wadero Nabi Aando Khan Kalhoro got highest votes in 1952's local body election held at Baharo dero. His father Ustad Inspector Muhammad Mithal Khan Kalhoro defeated Shah Muhammad Khuhro in 1979's local body election and became the member of District Council Khairpur as well as taluka Council Gambat. His elder brother Wadero Akhtar Hussain Kalhoro had been member Taluka Municipal Administration Gambat in 2001 then in 2005 local body election he succeeded with the lead of 400 votes as 1st elected Nazim of Union Council Ripri, taluka Gambal, District Khairpur as well as member District Council Khairpur in 2005. His education back ground is that he passed his primary education from Govt. Primary School Ripri, passed his secondary education/ Matriculation from Comprehensive High School, Khairpur in early 1970s, passed B.A. from Govt. Mumtaz College, Khairpur where his college mates were Mr. Manzoor Hussain Wassan, Minister of Sindh Government, Mr. Ghulam Shabbir Babar DSP, Abdul Qayyoum Rajper/ Baghiarr and so many others. He passed M.A. (Political) from Shah Latif University, Khairpur. In 1976, he started his service career as an Assistant in House Building Finance Corporation (HBFC), Pakistan and raised up to the position of District Manager. He had been posted in Karachi, Dado, Khairpur,Larkana, Sukkur and Thatta wherefrom he on attaining the age of superannuation, stood retired on 1st January, 2014. He had solemnized 1st marriage in 1975 with Mrs Hishmat Khantoon and blessed with 03 daughters and one son namely Ihsanullah Abbasi. However, held 2nd marriage in 1980 with Sheikh Haseena Khatoon (She passed away in 2011) and blessed with 03 daughters and 05 sons namely Ayaz Ali Abbasi, Sajjad Ali Abbasi, Nisar Ali Abbasi, Sadam Ali Abbasi and Nauman Ali Abbasi. His immediate younger brother is Manzoor Husain Abbasi who is the Chairman of Abbasi Kalhora Tanzeem Sindh, Karachi Zone & Administrator as well as Municipal Commissioner Karachi. His 2nd younger brother Dr. Mustafa Husain Kalhoro Taagrraai (Dy Superintendent) is Ph.D qualified from University of Karachi & is Director Ripri Adabi Academy Sindh. Mr. Niaz Husain Abbasi left this mortal world on Thursday 24th July, 2014 at about 1:00 AM accordingly 25th Ramzan ul Mubarak, 1435 hijri at Karachi. On the same day his Janaza prayer was offered in Tagro Ripri and he was buried in Sheikh Tayyab Graveyard, on Larkana Khairpur bypass, four kilometers away from National High. May Almighty Allah rest his soul in paradise. Aameen.
