National parks are naturally beautiful. Most parks were declared parks to preserve the wild beauty that makes them so amazing. While nearly all these protected areas are pretty, a number are simply amazing in their beauty. Take a look at the list of the most beautiful national parks in the world.
 

Glacier National Park (U.S.)

Glacier National Park is a national park located in the U.S. state of  Montana, on the Canada–United States border with the Canadian provinces  of Alberta and British Columbia. The park encompasses over 1 million  acres (4,000 km2) and includes parts of two mountain ranges (sub-ranges  of the Rocky Mountains), over 130 named lakes, more than 1,000 different species of plants, and hundreds of species of animals.


Olympic National Park

Olympic National Park is a United States national park located in the  state of Washington, in the Olympic Peninsula. The park has four basic regions: the Pacific coastline, alpine areas, the west side temperate  rainforest and the forests of the drier east side.


 

Denali National Park and Preserve

Denali National Park and Preserve is a national park and preserve  located in Interior Alaska, centered on Denali (Mount McKinley), the  highest mountain in North America. The park encompasses more than 6  million acres (24,500 km²), of which 4,724,735.16 acres (19,120 km²)  are federally owned. The national preserve is 1,334,200 acres (5,430 km²), of which 1,304,132 acres (5,278 km²) are federally owned. On  December 2, 1980, a 2,146,580 acre (8,687 km²) Denali Wilderness was  established within the park. Denali's landscape is a mix of forest at the lowest elevations, including deciduous taiga. The preserve is also home to tundra at middle elevations, and glaciers, rock, and snow at  the highest elevations. The longest glacier is the Kahiltna Glacier. Today, 400,000 people visit the park annually. They view wildlife, climb mountains, and backpack. Wintertime activities includes dog-sledding, cross-country skiing, and snowmachining.


 

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park (Arapaho: Henihco'oo or Héetíhco'oo) is a  national park located primarily in the U.S. state of Wyoming, although it also extends into Montana and Idaho. It was established by the U.S.  Congress and signed into law by President Ulysses S. Grant on March 1, 1872. Yellowstone, widely held to be the first national park in the world, is known for its wildlife and its many geothermal features,  especially Old Faithful Geyser, one of the most popular features in the park. It has many types of ecosystems, but the subalpine forest is  most abundant. It is part of the South Central Rockies forests  ecoregion.


Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a United States National Park  and UNESCO World Heritage Site that straddles the ridgeline of the Great Smoky Mountains, part of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which are a  division of the larger Appalachian Mountain chain. The border between  Tennessee and North Carolina runs northeast to southwest through the centerline of the park. It is the most visited national park in the  United States.[3] On its route from Maine to Georgia, the Appalachian Trail also passes through the center of the park.


Kirthar National Park

The Kirthar National Park is situated in the Kirthar range mountains in  Karachi and Jamshoro District in Sindh, Pakistan. It was founded in 1974 and stretches over 3087 km², being the second largest National  Park of Pakistan after Hingol National Park. The fauna comprises leopards, striped hyenas, wolves, ratels, urials, chinkara gazelles and rare Sind wild goats. Blackbuck antelopes are kept in enclosures for a  reintroduction project at Kirthar National Park. However, most large predators have been extirpated. The last leopard was shot in 1977.


Deosai National Park

The Deosai National Park is located in the Skardu District of  Gilgit-Baltistan province, in northern Pakistan. Deosai means 'the land of Giants'. The park is located on the Deosai Plains of the  Gilgit-Baltistan geographic region. Deosai is a tourist attraction and lot of tourists who visit Baltistan go to Deosai as well. Deosai Plateau which is the second highest plateau in the world after the  Chang Tang in Tibet. In local Balti language, Deosai is called Byarsa, meaning ‘summer place’. The plateau is located at the boundary of the  Karakorum and the western Himalayas.


Hingol National Park

Hingol National Park or Hungol National Park protects 1,650 km², and is the largest National Park of Pakistan. It was established in 1988. Hingol National Park is located along the Makran coastal region in
southwestern Balochistan Province, in southwestern Pakistan. It is  within sections of Lasbela District, Gwadar District, and Awaran District. The Gulf of Oman of the Arabian Sea is on the south. Karachi  is approximately 190 kilometres (120 mi) to the southeast on the coast.
