The heading of my column is I m
a designer of my Career because i am a designer of my career but in fact we are
the designer of our career. The key to design our career in our hands. We can
make it as well as we can destroy it. Best career does not means that we should
be engineer, doctor or entrepreneur. There are many other fields which we can
join like politics, journalism, fashion designing and many more.
As I have written above journalism and politics. Many people are afraid of these
type of fields as we know that the people owning these professions are always on
targets and the very fresh example of this is the attack on Hamid Mir on 19
April 2014. Hamid Mir is born on 23 July 1966 is a Pakistani journalist, news
anchor, and security analyst. He is currently hosting a program Capital Talk on
Geo News. he was facing severe threats for many sources, agencies and specially
TTP (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan) just because he and and many other journalist
like Ansar Abbasi, Najam Sethi, Ayaz Amir who are are producing facts as opinion
in their respective programs which the black sheep does not like to be
presented.
But after this attack I have become a real fan of Hamid Mir sahab and I also
want to become a journalist like him and to present my opinion in such a way he
and other brave men and women journalist are delivering but my parents have some
reservations on it that this field is not suitable for you but I know why they
are not satisfied with my this choice because i know that they are aware of the
problems which journalists have to face throughout. But then I gave them my
point of view for this field that it is good but actually the best field and the
one's life and security is in the hand of Almighty Allah and there are many pros
and cons of every field.
Then they also get calm and quite satisfied with my choice to be. After this I
also get relaxed and started thinking that how should I can reach to my destiny.
there is a great support to me from my mother's side which alway make me more
and more courageous ang steadfast.
Now I feel that some some I am designing my own career and have a strong faith
in my Almighty Allah that he will help me to design my career perfectly in the
way I want.
Hence it is concluded that we can be a designer of our career only by believing
in ourselves and the most importantly having strong faith in Allah, the most
merciful as admitted.......
