People like to visit palaces, monuments, historical walls and popular statues because they tell the stories of past time. At same time they unknown about many ghostly abandoned places in the world. In fact such ruined places can also reveal many informations about people once lived there, purpose behind construction of that place, lifestyle of people at that..etc.
 

The City Hall Station in New York City was built in 1904 and closed in 1945. It was only used by 600 people on a daily basis.
 

Abandoned Power Plant in Belgium
 

The SS America was wrecked in 1994 after 54 years of service. It still rests abandoned in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands.
 
The Red Sands Sea Forts In Sealand, United Kingdom were originally built during WWII to protect the River Thames.
 
Michigan Central Station in Detroit, Michigan was once a passenger rail depot. It closed in 1988.
 
Dadipark in Dadizel, Belgium was a place for children to play. It opened in the 1950′s and closed in 2002.
 
The Wonderland Amusement Park in Beijing, China was designed to be the biggest amusement park in Asia. It was never completed because of financial issues.
 
The El Hotel del Salto in Columbia was built in 1928 for wealthy tourists visiting the nearby Tequendama Falls. The waterfall was contaminated and visitors stopped coming, leading to its abandonment.
