STRIKE IN GILGIT BALTISTAN CREAT ALARMING SITUATION

People of GB faces many
challenges last 65 years. The territory join Pakistan after the independence of
Pakistan, the area attract many people of their beauty and high mountain. Every
year many foreigner visit this beautiful place. China boundary meets with
Pakistan through this territory. River Indus starts from this beautiful place.
There are many opportunities for making dams in Gilgit baltistan. two big dams
are under construct one is basha dam (4500mw) and second is bunji dam (4000mw)
is electricity produce and there are many places like basha and bunji where
Pakistan can produce electricity very easily.
The people of GB nowadays in dangerous condition. three days strike in whole GB
is very crucial. there are no traffic in the roads all market and shops are
closed, even people are unable to buy vegetable and other necessary things from
shops. This is due to Gilgit action Committee to rise their voice against
Corruption and subsidies of local and federal governments. Action committee GB
unite all sects of people and create awareness among people to be unite and rise
your voice against the local and federal governments because they eradicate the
subsidy in different things including wheat. People want to restore all the
subside which the leader of PPP Pakistan people party leader Zulfiqar ali Bhutto
has given to the people of GB. this strike will continue until the local and
federal govt do not restore all the previous subsidy. people of GB still deprive
in educational , health and food sectors.
