Negligence of Government to secure Pakistan

(Iram Urooj, )

Islamabad, the heart of the country is facing security problems now a days. The recent blast in I-11 fruit market is the proof of failure of our government policies to encounter terrorism and securing people.

The question arises that why we always fail to control these blasts? Why our government is not serious on terrorism? Why there is no progressive development in the talks with Taliban?

The answers to these questions are still unanswerable from our government officials. The security issues in the capital of any country is not a minute issue as it has negative influence on the whole country. The corrupt politicians are not sincere with the country. They are protecting their own interest. They have no concern with the problems of common people. It is interesting to note that due to the international interference and manipulation the very same people that we label as corrupt just some time ago, blame and rebuke, come back to govern us after a couple of years again and people welcome them with open arms. A common English saying goes as “fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me”. This is probably also the main reason why the political process in Pakistan is not let to prosper.

Due to these problems, the lives of Pakistanis are in great threat. People are now frightened of the fact, they are never sure that their family members will come back alive or not, paralyzed or stable. It disturbs the state of mind of people.

There needs to be a big shift in the mind set of the people. Pakistani people should move away from the control of these selfish leaders and must realize what is best for the country and for themselves. Instead of blaming and revealing the unnecessary secrets for their personal benefits, people from all over the country want to settle down the issues between the leaders and make them sit together for taking the innocent people out of this disasterous time.
