Social media and psycological disorders

Now a days social media is becoming an important medium for communication. Some of the effects of social media very valueable while some are very dangerous for human brain. Social media and psycological disorders have a direct relationship with each other, with the increase in addiction towards social media more mental problems are appearing especially in youngsters.

According to psycologist many of teenagers are effected from narcissism and these behind screen activities plays an important role in bringing strength to these abilities.most of the people specially young age adult and teenagers are more attached towards their cell phones, iphones, computers, etc. they prefer to communicate through texting instead of face to face communication which in one of the draw back of advance social media. One who spends significant time online is formore likely suffer from symptoms of depression.
 


Social networking sites target those people who had issues before they signed up. It seems to be more benificial for people with low esteem but in real its not the same, People tends to express a lot of negative emotions. People mostly prefers the people with high esteem that’s how being ignored effects the people with low esteem.
Face book and MySpace provides people a false sense of connection that increases loneliness in people who feel alone beffore the siggend in, social media can trigger the emotional sensitivity towards disconnections. ‘‘
 


One more major critism of social media is cyber bulling and lack of privacy. Some of peoples who resieves threats through networking sites or who faced cyber bulling are suffering from serious mental disorders and some are even dead.
