Series of Farmer fairs, Exhibitions & a year long golden jubilee celebrations, a
source of corruption in University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. (Irregularities
in US-aid reserved funds) (Vice Chancellor looking for an additional tenure of
next four years with ferocious political interference)
University of Agriculture, Faisalabad has celebrated its Golden Jubilee
celebrations by arranging a series of different mega events particularly
one-week mega agenda “Spring Festival” March 13-20, 2011. But unfortunately
these celebrations have produced the un-necessary expenditures of many million
rupees (in-Crores). The corruption was made under following financial heads
through US Aid Program (Endowment Fund Secretariat) University of Agriculture,
FSD. Here it is submitted that the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad has a
historical history of 100 years in Agriculture Research & Education. But now
days this institute has been facing several un-desirable issues regarding
Corruption, Autocracy, Nepotism, Recruitments, and Promotions since the
appointment of Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan as Vice Chancellor. The university
authorities had succeeded in collection of a very huge amount of funds from
Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad, PSF, PARC/ NARC, PARB, Endowment
Fund Secretariat, US-aid reserved funds, Private companies of food and
pesticides & many other government and semi- government research organizations
for these fake events in order to promote corruption, brutal satisfaction of
Blue-Eyed members. Now University of Agriculture going to repeat the said
practice of such corruption again during 19th -22nd Oct, 2011 by holding farmer
fair and un-necessary exhibition. These whole fake events would produce the
expenditures of many millions rupees again. The heads where the corruption will
be made as under:
• Repair & renovation bills of buildings (in construction)
• Fake Daily paid worker bills.
• Un-necessary invitations & three star hotels stay to blue-eyed.
• Fake bills of breakfast, lunch & dinners.
• Exhibition (installation, tenting & generator-electricity charges)
• Bird show (fake bills)
• Horse & Cattle show (fake residence and food charges)
• Prize money & gift hamper corruption.
• Sports events (residence and food bills)
• Stage drama’s/night shows against the moral value of faculty.
• Printing charges (manuals, banners & bluchers)
• Fake security expenditures.
• Transport charges of guests/officials
It is humbly requested that full enquire should be established about the needs
of such rubbish and unnecessary events & a strict order may kindly be passed to
postpone such irresponsible events that cause the wastage of millions of rupee
from US aid reserved funds of the university. A notification is required to stop
these whole fictitious celebrations.
Therefore, it is further requested that the people, who have supported the Vice
Chancellor in making this mega plan of corruption by repeating the exhibition
again within five months, explanation should be called for & necessary legal
action against those miscreants. It is very unfortunate that the few people of
corrupt administration and blue-eyed members also the part of said corruption
and they prefer to close their eyes yet because of getting share (Shame). Your
kind authority is requested to take serious notice to identity this mega plan of
corruption & culprits may kindly be taken to task, which has already wasted the
millions of university rupee just for the sake of political links and contacts
with the bureaucracy.
