The Mount Everest Webcam Lets You View the
Mountain's Summit on Demand
Amateur mountaineers can now see for themselves what the summit of Mount
Everest looks like thanks to the Mount Everest webcam. The Mount Everest
webcam is mounted at an amazing 18,514 ft. and gives a clear view of the
west side of Mount Everest which stands an imposing 29,029 ft.The Mount
Everest webcam can only be viewed during the daytime hours in Nepal. The
webcam takes one image every five minutes and is used to track the
movement of clouds around the top of the mountain. The webcam was
installed by German company Mobotix. The data gathered from the Mount
Everest webcam will be used in conjunction with other sources to help
scientists more accurately record global climate change.

invent 'invisible key' technology
FORGETTING where you put your keys may soon be a thing of the past. In
the future we won't even need keys. A team of Taiwanese researchers have
developed an "invisible key" technology which allows users to unlock
their doors by means of simple hand gestures, the head of the team said
Monday. "In the future, you won't have to worry about losing or
forgetting your keys," said Tsai Yao-Pin, who teaches at the Technology
and Science Institute of Northern Taiwan. At the heart of the technology
is a chip that can detect movement in three dimensions, as used in
Nintendo's Wii video game console, Mr Tsai said. The technology allows
users to easily unlock their doors by repeating a gesture preset in the

gold medal at the four-day Taipei International Invention Show and
Technomart which ended Sunday. Mr Tsai estimated that it make take half

Festival for twins in China
Around 500 twins people took part in festival which is arranged for them
in China on Monday. According to the details, around 500 twins
participated in eighth twins festival this year. Hall was decorated with
petiteness and red lights and it was compulsory for all twins to wear
same dress. It is pertinent to mention that having more than one
children is restricted in China.

Top ten Chinese richest women in world
The richest women on the Chinese mainland and the world’s richest
self-made women were released. Wu Yajun, 47, General Director of Longhu
Real Estate Development Co, a developer in the southwestern municipality
of Chongqing, tops both lists as the richest Chinese woman, with an
estimated family fortune of 420 billion yuan ($6.6 billion), The list is
made up of the 50 richest women selected from China’s Hurun Rich List
2011 which has 156 women in its 1,000 richest people in China,
accounting for 15.5 percent of the list, reaching a record high. The
average age of the 50 richest Chinese women is 48, three years younger
than the overall figure of the Hurun Rich List 2011. The average wealth
of the listed women is 9.7 billion yuan, up 13 percent from last year,
the highest level in history. The real estate industry remains the
biggest source of wealth for the 50 richest Chinese women, with 18
coming from this industry and six among the top 10. Guangdong province
is home to the headquarters of 10 listed women’s companies, more than
any other region in China, followed by Beijing with nine and Zhejiang
with six. Thirty-three of the 50 richest Chinese women are self-made
billionaires, up from last year’s 30. On the list of the world richest
self-made women, 18 who have more than $1 billion come from China.

Ex-Convict Randall Church Sets
House On Fire To Get Prison Term
In a rare instance of prison fixation, an ex-inmate admitted to
investigators on Sunday that he set fire to a home on Southeast Side in
order to be able to go back to his "old job" at his former prison unit.
Randall Lee Church, 46, who served 26 years for committing murder, has
been charged with attempted arson and parole violation. Bexar County
police say that Church confessed to pouring gasoline through the side
window of a home located in the 9400 block of South Forster Road, next
to his residence. He also threw flaming rags and paper towels to help
the fire "grow in intensity". However, his first attempt was not
successful, and he re-ignited the fire, assuring officals that "if the
fire did not spread, he would continue his efforts the following day".
Authorities say that the accused was arrested on a murder charge out of
Baytown in 1983, and sentenced to spend 26 years in prison.
Psychiatrists claim that this kind of behaviour is not "uncommon", since
most ex-criminals, when freed, find themselves living in an "alien
world" where they have difficulty adjusting. They are said to often
commit more crimes just so as to be able to return to prison.
