The holy month is not about feeding your own family with samosas, pakoras, and Rooh Afza; it is much more than that. This Ramadan, Surf Excel came up with a heart wrenching message of bridging the gap between the blood relations. The message is beautifully conveyed through an innocent boy who is affected by the family problems. He decides to play his part in bringing the family together.

Surf Excel Ramadan Campaign delivers the true spirit of Ramadan. In the earlier campaigns, Surf Excel have focused on the theme ‘if you get dirty while doing something good, then dirt is good.’ The tagline and the theme music were hard hitting and touched the right cords for the parents. Mothers don’t have to be cautious about dirty clothes of their child if they are attempting a kind deed. The idea was warmly received by masses.

This year the Surf Excel Ramadan 2018 #EkNekiRozana film is based on a cute little child Adil who appears to be unhappy about a family situation and want to play his part to resolve it. The story reveals that his Chacha (uncle) and his father are not in good talking terms with each other from quiet sometime. Adil decides to surprise his Chacha by bringing him an Iftar on his own. He went to the market and purchased Iftar items and while doing so his clothes got stains. The Chacha’s family was quiet impressed with Adil’s act and decides to visit Adil’s house with Iftar.

Adil’s father was surprised and happy to see his brother’s family along with his son. The film ends with an extremely heartwarming hug between the two brothers. The music adds the ‘feel’ that makes us all cheer for this family brought close by Adil’s little Neki.
 


 

With this campaign launch, the brand is aiming to spread the bigger message of doing one good deed a day (#Eknekirozana) for the great good. Because no neki, whether big or small goes in-vain.
