Toss Zimbabwe chose to bat v New Zealand Live scorecard and ball-by-ball details Brendan Taylor won the toss and opted to bat first in the opening Twenty20 international at Eden Park. New Zealand continued use this short series to experiment with new faces, fielding three Twenty20 debutants, all from Auckland - Colin de Grandhomme, Roneel Hira and Michael Bates. de Grandhomme, the batting allrounder, and Hira, the left-arm spinner, are the two uncapped players in the line-up. Bates, the left-arm seamer, made his ODI debut at Napier on Thursday. Zimbabwe brought in Forster Mutizwa, Hamilton Masakadza and Keegan Meth into the line-up. Taylor will open the batting. |
