Toss Zimbabwe chose to bat v New Zealand

New Zealand continued use this short series to experiment with new faces, fielding three Twenty20 debutants, all from Auckland - Colin de Grandhomme, Roneel Hira and Michael Bates. de Grandhomme, the batting allrounder, and Hira, the left-arm spinner, are the two uncapped players in the line-up. Bates, the left-arm seamer, made his ODI debut at Napier on Thursday. Zimbabwe brought in Forster Mutizwa, Hamilton Masakadza and Keegan Meth into the line-up. Taylor will open the batting. |
