The Supreme Court today dismissed the intra court appeal of Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani against the contempt of court notice.

An eight member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry maintained the judgment of 7-member bench's 2nd February judgment in which the apex court had decided to frame contempt of court charges against the Prime Minister.
The court also dismissed the NRO review petition. Earlier, Prime Minister's Counsel Aitzaz Ahsan concluded his arguments. Later, talking to media outside the Supreme Court building Aitzaz Ahsan said as the appeal was dismissed therefore, the Prime Minister will appear before the apex court on Monday.
