Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has called for respecting the mandate of the people given to the present government.

Addressing the Pakistani community in Qatar he said the parliament should complete its tenure whether he remains prime minister or not. The prime minister underlined the need for all state institutions to work within the ambit of the Constitution. He said any unconstitutional move should not be supported and democracy should be strengthened. Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said there will be no clash among state institutions if they work in accordance with the Constitution. He expressed the resolve to settle the issues of war on terrorism gas and power shortage in the country. The prime minister said the government is committed to providing maximum facilities to Pakistanis abroad. He said rules and regulations are being worked out to give expatriate Pakistanis the right to vote in the country's elections. He invited them to invest in various sectors and help build the economy and ensure progress and prosperity of their country. The premier minister termed the expatriates as countrys ambassadors abroad and urged them to work hard with sincerity and devotion to build a good repute of their country.
